Live bargains from eBay now appear in the Parchment Group above our comments section.
Hard to find pattern books and second-hand magazines, tools etc. are often found on eBay - I found an out-of-print Pergamano book that I wouldn't have been able to get hold of otherwise :-)
I buy loads from ebay, for my card making as its so much cheaper, my recent buy was a 70+ set of parchment tools, in a carry case, for just under £130, all pergamano tools. real bargain. the seller was pleased i bought them, as they were selling them on behalf of a friend who had sady passed away, and would of been very pleased they werent split up and went to someone who was going to enjoy them, which i have, altho i have yet to use loads of them, but cant wait to.
I have sourced a lot of my stash from Ebay including Rotring and Faber-Castell pens that I use for tracing now. Its also well worth looking at Amazon for parchment craft books, but if you do, browse through them to make sure you get the best deal.
@Lynne - I've had experience of a few ladies who want to sell on their 'stash' for similar reasons...the goods are usually near-perfect and it's nice, like you say, that they go to a 'good home'.
Just a warning about Parchment papers that you will find listed on Ebay. Do make sure you read the description carefully as more often than not, it will be paper or card rather than the 'parchment' required for the craft.
