What do you like about photoshop? 2 Replies

I was introduced to photoshop by my daughter and she has been teaching me how to use it. Once I got used to it I found it quite easy to use, but I am still learning. I would love any help you have to…

Hi I have used PSP for years and love it, I have now had CS4 as a pressie, I find it takes a bit of getting used to, I find the dragging and dropping a bit weird after copy and paste for so long, as I make mainly decoupage sheets I am not sure how useful this will be for this, but I have also found that the actions that I can purchase for cs4 are really good, so at the moment saving everything as png so I can work in both cs4 and psp, but I have certainly got a lot to learn about cs4.

Hi Ian,

Welcome to the group.

I had never heard of Inkscape until you mentioned it. I had a quick look at it and I will give it a go when I have the time.

Hello all, I have just joined so hope I am going to be of some use! I use Photoshop Elements as one of my main art packages. I also have Paintshop pro, but have to say that the free Inkscape is BRILLIANT. If you use craftrobo, you can even output straight to cutter. I do find that no package does everything, but those 3 together cover all my needs. Hope that's helpful.

Hi Adele
You could try photoshopsupport.com As Chris says this is a very good site.I think CS3 will be very expensive because it is a full version. Only have photoshop elements myself, but it is really good

Hi Allyson

I'm a Paint Shop Pro user normally but I have to get hold of CS3 (that IS Photoshop right???)...

Know anywhere I can download it?
