Yorkshire through and through
I'm orignially from Hull but now live here in Spain
I've always been interested in crafting but enjoy cardmaking the most. I hold a card making workshop once a fortnight, with 8 other ladies, we all enjoy the together and a natter.

Hello Patricia, I too retired from Midwifery and so have more time for my hobbies. It's great and sometimes I still feel a bit guilty when making cards or sewing quilts. It is as though I should be working, even after 34 years of my lovely job. Grandchildren are wonderful, I now have six and a great granddaughter. I love the idea of a small craft group as you have there. I don't go out much so will have to look at starting something like that here.

Hello everyone. I am a Scot originally but now a naturalized Yorkshire woman living near York. I am married with 2 grown girls and our first grandchild on the way. I had to retire from nursing two years ago and am now able to give much of my time to my favourite cardmaking pastime. I belong to a small group of crafters and we meet every week at one another's homes; to craft and to gossip! Look forward to chatting and getting new ideas and have a chat sometimes.

Hello all, I'm from Yorkshire but now live in South Wales. My son and daughter-in-law with their four girls live in Ilkley so I have a strong connection to God's county. My hubby and I are radio hams, my call sign is MW3YBB ( Yorkshire Born & Bred)Now retired, I love my cardmaking and learning new skills. Hope to pop in and have a chat and advice on whats new.
